Spend time with our anesthesia team and see what it’s like to work in a dynamic, fast-paced  environment. We offer shadowing opportunities for high school, college, and medical students who are serious about exploring a future in anesthesiology.

About the Program

Gain Real-World Clinical Experience

Our job shadowing program is designed to give aspiring healthcare professionals a front-row seat to the operating room. You'll observe our team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs as they deliver safe, compassionate care and collaborate with surgical teams.  Whether you're a high school student just beginning your exploration or a med student refining your specialty choice, this opportunity offers a unique clinical perspective.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from: 

  • High school students who meet the age requirement (with school approval)

  • Undergraduate students interested in pre-med, nursing, or related fields

  • Medical students exploring anesthesia as a specialty

Eligibility:

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Able to provide proof of immunizations and sign a HIPAA/confidentiality agreement

  • Willing to comply with all shadowing and dress code policies outlined in the packet

What You'll Observe:

  • The daily workflow of CRNAs and anesthesiologists

  • Pre-op assessments, intraoperative monitoring, and post-op care

  • Team collaboration in the operating room and clinical decision-making
