Job Description:
Anesthesia Consultants of Augusta is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our collaborative healthcare team. As a CRNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and care of our patients undergoing various surgical and procedural interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or local) to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures.

Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthesia levels, making adjustments as necessary to maintain patient safety and comfort.

Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to determine appropriate anesthetic plans based on patient health and procedure type.

Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care throughout procedures.

Provide critical life support and airway management during emergency situations.

Manage postoperative pain and assist with recovery plans.

Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration and patient responses in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in anesthesia care and participate in continuous professional development and education.

Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards to deliver the highest quality

Qualifications:
-
Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.

Current CRNA certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licenses in the state of Georgia.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Strong understanding of anesthetic drugs, techniques, and equipment.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
